A Washington County man was arrested for several child pornography and child sex crimes following a lengthy investigation.
Police received information of alleged sexual contact between the suspect, 74-year-old Jack Barton, and an underage victim.
During a search of Barton’s home detectives collected digital devices and sent them for forensic examination.
Upon completion of the examination, an arrest warrant was issued for Barton.
He is charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, possession of child pornography, and dissemination of matter harmful to minors.
