Judge David Kiely of the Vanderburgh County Circuit Court says this term on the bench will be his last.
With more than 25 years of service, Judge Kiely will retire at the end of this year.
He began as a Circuit Court magistrate in 1998.
More than 10 years later he moved to the Superior Court bench before returning to the Circuit Court as a judge.
He says he plans to spend his retirement fishing and on the golf course.
