Henderson fire crews were dispatched to a bedroom fire in the 2300 block of Adams Lane on New Year’s Day.
Units en route were advised by dispatch that the home was fully involved and was starting to collapse.
An assistant chief on the scene says the fire was likely started by a space heater.
Arriving units started spraying water through a window.
Another crew was able to make an entrance through the front door and put the fire out.
Seven people were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
