Vanderburgh County authorities say Denaya Harris is charged with escape after getting away from her pod in the county jail.
Harris, who was jailed in connection with the neglect death of her two-week-old baby, reportedly snuck through a door behind a deputy and was found later in a visitation room.
She also threw herself forward as she was being escorted back, but the deputy managed to prevent she and him from falling.
However, she continued to resist and yell, and scratched the deputy on the arm.
Her bond has been doubled to $50,000. She is to be evaluated for competency and sanity.
