Authorities arrested a man after he allegedly made threats in Mayor Winnecke’s office.
Winnecke says the man, 32-year-old Moses Hardin, wanted his car released from police impound.
Winnecke’s assistant tried to tell Hardin that the mayor doesn’t have that authority at which point Hardin became abusive.
Hardin was arrested for intimidation, and resisting arrest.
Mayor Winnecke says it’s the first time in his 12 years that something like this happened.
