Trial for a Mt. Vernon man accused in a double murder has been postponed.
Court action for Austin Kusturin’s trial is not scheduled to begin until February 5.
The date was postponed because of the medical issue of a defense attorney.
Kusturin is accused of the shooting deaths of John and Elizabeth Hall during a robbery in November of 2021.
He was identified by cell phone data and surveillance video which he accused officers of planting.
