An Evansville man was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail just before 4:00 Sunday morning for leaving the scene of a crash.
Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop near Fulton Avenue and Ulhorn Street when one of the drivers decided to drive away.
The vehicle was later found unoccupied with heavy front-end damage.
The driver 37-year-old Kenneth Fox was located on foot between two apartment buildings.
Fox is a habitual traffic violator and is charged with resisting law enforcement and leaving the scene of a crash.
