A Vanderburgh County Jail confinement officer is getting a look at what it’s like on the other side of the bars.
Austin Chandler was arrested for strangulation and domestic battery Sunday morning.
The victim told officers that Chandler punched her in the face, and then covered her nose and mouth so she couldn’t breathe.
Reportedly there was a child in the home at the time.
Chandler was arrested by Evansville Police.
