The Henderson Police Department responded to the Sugar Creek Inn on Highway 41 Friday night for a person making threats.
Officers were able to identify the man as 54-year-old William Richardson.
Due to the severity of his threats, the Henderson Emergency Response Team and Hostage Negotiation Team were called in to assist.
Richardson had an active warrant for his arrest out of Muhlenberg County.
He is currently in the Henderson County Detention Center.
