The Evansville Police Department received 19 AEDs that will go into their patrol cars.
Nancy Drake and Margaret Musgrave raised $31,000 to purchase the life-saving devices.
Last May, EPD Detective Michael Sides had a heart attack while on the job.
Drake says his life was saved because of an AED.
That incident sparked the idea of getting the department more of them.
