One person is dead following a crash involving a 4-wheeler.
On Saturday afternoon the Sheriff’s Office and German Township Fire Department responded to the area of New Harmony Road east of St. Joe Road.
Upon arrival, emergency crews observed an SUV down an embankment and an ATV in a ditch.
The SUV driver told deputies she was behind the ATV, before the collision.
The 4-wheeler began to slow down, prompting the SUV driver to pass the ATV on the left.
The ATV unexpectedly turned left towards a dirt pathway when the two vehicles collided.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor.
