Evansville Police vacated a home in the 1-thousand block of Mary Street yesterday (Thurs) finding an IED while serving a warrant.
The suspect in the case wouldn’t come out and police officers couldn’t find him when they went inside.
That’s when they found the improvised explosive device as well as other explosives.
Officers cleared the home and set up a perimeter while the Hazard Detection Unit got all the explosives out.
The suspects name hasn’t been released since an arrest warrant hasn’t been officially filed yet.
