Crews Called Back For Gas Leak

Evansville fire crews were dispatched to a factory fire at the Kerry Ingredient plant around 1:00 this morning.

Arriving crews discovered that some machinery had caught fire.

The fire was on the third floor of the building making it necessary for firefighters to call for more help.

Then a little after 7 this morning, crews were called back to the plant for an active gas leak… the building was evacuated.

The leak has since been secured.
