The City of Evansville has selected the official Christmas Tree that will adorn the front of the Civic Center during the upcoming holidays.
St. Wendel Catholic Parish donated the tree.
It’s a Norway spruce, about 20 years old, with a base that will make it perfect for the purpose.
Father Ed Schnur of St. Wendel says he saw a city video on social media looking for a tree and immediately donated the spruce.
