A second arrest has been made in a child neglect case.
23-year-old Hailey Schaefer is the girlfriend of William Wathen.
He was arrested last week after his children told police that he destroyed the house with an axe.
The children’s mother had left them in the care of Wathen to “have alone time”.
Schaefer told police that she knew that William was taking drugs, but not in front of the children.
She was charged with neglect of a dependent and has since been released from jail.
Wathen is still in the Vanderburgh County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
