There is good news for CenterPoint Energy customers as heating season begins.
Natural gas bills are expected to be more than 20 percent lower compared to last winter.
Customers can anticipate paying an average of $115 a month between November and March.
Last year’s average bill during those same months averaged around $150.
The lower bills contributed to the decrease in natural gas prices.
