Victim Says Argument Over Keys Led To Stabbing

During an argument Saturday night, a woman is accused of stabbing a man with a large butcher knife.

Evansville Police Officers were called to the 2200 block of Harding Avenue for an assault.

A man was found with multiple stab wounds on his back, arm, and head.

When the incident occurred, the victim told officers that he and Tamara Starks were arguing over car keys.

Starks claims she only punched the victim and says the stab wounds were there before she hit him.

Starks is charged with battery committed with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.
