A Ferdinand man is facing serious charges after a criminal investigation was initiated.
26-year-old Austin Lehmkuler is accused of forcing sexual acts upon a 23-year-old mentally challenged female in a wooded area.
A search warrant was issued for his home where probable cause was found.
Lehmkuler was transported to Perry County Jail without bond and charged with rape and sexual battery.
