The Indiana Department of Transportation unveils plans for a pedestrian bridge over Highway 41 at Washington Avenue.
The bridge will be constructed on Highway 41 with ramps near McDonalds and Circle K on the one side, and Evansville Family Dentistry on the other.
EVSC leaders say the project is long overdue, as students at Bosse have often placed themselves in harm’s way trying to cross 41 at Washington.
Construction is to start in a couple of months and wrap up at the end of next year.
