An Evansville man was arrested during a traffic stop in Gibson County.
25-year-old Austin Ricks was pulled over on Highway 41 near County Road 350 for having a defective taillight and expired registration.
Ricks showed signs of impairment and a smell of marijuana was coming from his vehicle.
Ricks resisted and became physical with the trooper during a field sobriety test.
He was taken into custody after being tased.
The trooper received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
