The scammers are falsely claiming to be with the credit union and have sent text messages to area phone numbers.
The scammers use their logo and constantly change the wording to trick potential victims into providing banking information.
HFCU will never request sensitive information, such as your social security number, account credentials, or multi-factor authentication code via text message.
