Local history enthusiasts are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, September 26 at 6 PM in the Henderson County Library.
It will be held by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc.
The organizations are working to develop a historic context addressing segregation and the ascent of the black community in this region.
Attendees will be asked to provide oral history interviews regarding churches, schools, medical facilities, housing, and cemeteries.
This will help document the history of the I-69 Ohio River Crossing project.
