The Evansville Police Department responded to a shots fired call around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon at the corner of Fulton Avenue and Missouri Street.
Officers located a 28-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Witnesses told detectives there was an altercation, and not long after that, a gun was pulled.
He was treated on scene and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made.
