The arch at the entrance to Bosse Field and Garvin Park is moving.
Director of Jacobsville Development Ted O’Connell says it’s headed to North Main and Indiana Streets.
On the northbound side, the arch will say “Welcome to Jacobsville” while on the reverse it will say “Thanks for Visiting Jacobsville.”
The exact date for the move has not been determined.
O’Connell says moving the arch is something they’ve wanted to do for a while to help promote the neighborhood.
