A report says a horse has been euthanized after contracting West Nile Disease.
The report comes from the Equine Disease Communication Center.
The 2-year-old stallion was the first confirmed positive for West Nile Disease in 2023.
The report says over half of Indiana’s 92 counties have detected virus-positive mosquito colonies this summer.
More cases of West Nile are expected.
