Evansville police were called to the Pearl Drive branch of Heritage Federal on a hold-up alarm.
When they arrived he found the alarm had been triggered by an attempt to yank an ATM out of its housing with a truck.
It’s unclear whether the ATM was breached and if any money was taken.
The machine was badly damaged.
Police are looking for suspects.
T he Heritage Federal Lobby is open today as usual but the drive-through is closed.
