A Red Cross volunteer from Evansville is headed to the island of Maui in the wake of devastating wildfires.
Daryl Moore says he will probably be stationed at an emergency check-in station where he will provide blankets and a sympathetic ear.
The Indiana National Guard has also been deployed to Maui to provide additional help.
