Henderson law enforcement warns residents their vehicles could be at risk of being stolen during these warm months.
H-P-D says the number of stolen vehicles tends to climb while more people are outside.
They say they’re getting multiple reports of cars stolen overnight.
The thief drives it around, then parks it and finds another car with the keys in it and swipes that one as well.
A department spokesman says H-P-D has received 20 stolen reports in the last three weeks, most from people who left their keys in their cars.
