First responders were called to the scene of an accident at Veterans Memorial Parkway and Riverside Drive just before 6:00.
Witnesses tell police a bicycle rode out in front of oncoming traffic and was struck.
Also according to witnesses, the striking vehicle had the green light and the right of way.
The coroner is reported to have arrived at about 7:00 am.
Accident reconstructionists were called to the scene.
