An Evansville man is in jail after attacking his father twice with a lamp during an argument over chores.
EPD was called to the 4600 block of Spring Valley Road for an assault in progress early Sunday morning.
The victim told police that his son had left after the attack.
30 minutes later the victim called 9-1-1 to report that his son had returned, attacked him, and stolen his phone.
A K-9 located 29 years Cody Jones and officers placed him in cuffs.
He is facing charges of robbery, escape, and domestic battery.
