An Owensville man was apprehended after an hours-long standoff in Gibson County on Wednesday.
Multiple agencies joined the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office in trying to locate 23-year-old Colton Linxwiler.
After checking several residences in Patoka, area officers descended on a home in the 200 block of West Vine Street.
While speaking with the homeowner a deputy heard someone running through the house.
After several hours on scene, Linxwiler walked out of the residence and was placed into custody.
He was booked on a felony probation violation warrant and a new charge of resisting law enforcement.
