Eleven Indiana food banks, pantries, and soup kitchens will receive a combined 2 million dollars from the Department of Agriculture.
This doubles last year’s amount.
The Tri-State Food Bank made the list and will receive $123,000.

Nearly 1 in 6 Americans received food assistance from a charitable sector last year.
