SWIRCA & More and METS are extending their free bus ride program through the end of the year.
Since January ridership has increased by 50 percent amongst the older adult and disabled populations.
To qualify for the program, eligible riders will need to provide their current state-issued photo ID showing proof of age.
For those under 65, riders need to go to METS with their Medicare card along with their state-issued ID.
Since January SWIRCA & MORE and METS have provided approximately 62,000 free rides.
