Vanderburgh County students and families that were pre-selected by the EVSC are getting free refurbished laptops donated by Compudopt.
The computers are provided by AT&T in their commitment to help bridge the digital divide.
In 2021 it was announced that the nearly $40 million dollar project would be provided by AT&T.
$9.9 million came from funding through the American Rescue Plan Act and $29.7 million was an investment by AT&T.
