Poll Workers Are Getting A Raise

Poll workers in Vanderburgh County were being paid $10 an hour to work a ten hour election.

But now, the Vanderburgh County Commissioners have voted them a raise.

Poll workers will now receive $125 a day for the same ten hour shift.

The increase is designed to make sure the county has the workforce it needs ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
