Wesselman Woods is expanding it’s nature preserve.
The first portion was gifted from the city of Evansville that includes the 32 acre former Par 3 golf course and the 16 acre forested middle section of Wesselman Park.
The other is a recent $2 million purchase for 42 acres from the University of Evansville.
This will add 90 more acres to Wesselman Woods.
