Indiana State Police is investigating a fatal crash that happened on Monday.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office received a call concerning 35 year old Maria Booker of Locust Grove, Virginia.
She had left Colorado earlier in the day and no one was able to make contact with her for several hours.
Police agencies began to look for Booker on I-64, the last known location from a family member.
Around 7:20 p.m. her vehicle was located down an embankment in a heavily wooded area.
The driver was found deceased.
An autopsy is pending.
