An Evansville mother spent her Mother’s Day inside the Vanderburgh County Jail after causing a hit and run accident with her young daughter inside the vehicle.
It happened in the 200 block of North Fulton Avenue.
37 year old Kayce Houchin hit another vehicle and drove away.
Witnesses told officers Houchin was circling the area and throwing liquor bottles out the window.
Police pulled her over near Seventh Avenue and could smell alcohol on her breath.
She is facing several charges including neglect of a dependant.
