One man has pleaded guilty in connection with alleged thefts from the Pigeon Township Trustee’s Office.
Terrance Hardiman pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.
Other charges were dismissed.
Hardiman is a contractor hired by trustee Mariama Wilson and office employee William Payne to remodel a homeless shelter.
Federal authorities say Hardiman agreed to overcharge the office with inflated invoices and hand the extra money to Wilson and Payne.
Their trials are set for July 10.
