The trial for an Evansville teen got underway on Wednesday.
17 year old Mateo Rodriguez is charged in the death of 33 year old Megan Schaefer.
He is accused of stealing a car and running her over.
This happened at the Conoco gas station on the corner of East Franklin Street and Weinbach Avenue in April of 2022.
The jury listened to several witnesses, watch surveillance video of the incident and heard the 9-1-1 calls made that night.
The trial is expected to wrap up this afternoon.
