A number of denominations of faith will participate in the Evansville edition of the 72nd National Day of Prayer.
It’ll take place at noon Thursday.
Evansville Diocese bishop Joseph Siegel will offer a short prayer during the proceedings.
Mayor Winnecke will read a proclamation from the City of Evansville and the Mater Dei Choir will perform.
