The Salvation Army’s annual War on Hunger Campaign is today and Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at area Schnucks locations.
All donations will help resupply their pantries with food for the summer months.
The goal is to collect $55,000 in non-perishable food items, or monetary donations.
Every $25 donated will provide 16 meals to families in need.
The six Schnucks locations participating are: Newburgh, Lynch Road, Lawndale, Darmstadt, Westside and First Avenue.
