The theme at last nights NAACP Freedom Fund banquet dinner was “This is Power”.
Progress was celebrated as well as the change of leadership.
After 25 years as the chapter’s president, Reverend Gerald Arnold handed the wand over to Reverend Connie Baltzell.
His plans for the future is to have the community to become one, a safe community, a community of love.
The Freedom Fund banquet reached 40 percent of their goal of $100,000.
