A bill set to allow legal bets on college and pro sports has passed the Kentucky General Assembly and is headed for the governor’s desk.
If it becomes law, the bill will permit bets using a computer, cell phone or a mobile device.
Bettors could also go to a horse-track-owned wagering center within Kentucky.
The bill passed the Senate 25-12 on Thursday.
It had previously passed the Kentucky House 63-34.
