An Evansville man accused of trying to meet a teenager for sex is out of jail.
He had originally faced a charge of child solicitation after going to a location where he was allegedly to meet the young girl.
Instead he was confronted by an Indianapolis based online Predator Catcher group.
The sheriff’s office says the group’s operatives posed as a 14 year old girl.
Documents indicate the solicitation charge was never officially filed against the 26 year old man and the case against him has been dismissed.
