Indiana and Kentucky signed a Memorandum of Agreement that will allow preliminary development and financial planning to move forward with section 2 of the new river crossing.
This means the I-69 Ohio River Crossing that will connect Henderson and Evansville is a step closer to reality.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027 and expected to be completed in 2031.
The bi-state project will cost around $3 million.
