Police were called to an Evansville IHOP Sunday morning around 4:00 for a fight in progress.
40 year old Edward Johnson was accused of groping the waitresses and told to leave.
He left then re-entered the building injuring a woman who tried to block him.
Once inside, Johnson began to throw plates and turn over tables.
He refused to comply with officers, but was eventually taken to the ground and cuffed.
He spit on one of the officers.
Johnson is facing several charges included sexual battery and battery against a public safety officer.
