Pedestrian In Serious Condition After Being Struck By Vehicle

A person crossing the street on St. Joseph Avenue in Evansville was struck by a vehicle around 6:45 last night.

It happened near the intersection of Columbia and Maryland Streets near the Taco Bell.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

EPD says the driver is cooperating with officers.

The incident remains under investigation.
