A juvenile has been charged for having a handgun and a knife while on the property of Owensboro Middle School.
Just before 3:00 yesterday a school resource officer was notified by school administration about a juvenile being in possession of a loaded weapon.
The juvenile was transported to the Adair County Detention Center.
Owensboro Public Schools put out a statement thanking all involved to stop what could of been a harmful situation.
