Debra Miller’s last day on WIKY was full of excitement as the TriState had severe weather during her last midday show. She has been the host of the 10am-3pm slot since March 2005. Evansville is her home town, but she came to work here after a 7 year stint in Palm Springs, California and had previously worked in Wichita, St. Louis, Chicago, Ft. Wayne, and Carbondale, Illinois.
Debra had previously planned on staying on the Mt. Auburn Hill until she either “died of old age or had to be forcibly removed by security”. Neither of those things happened. However, she did get engaged to an Englishman and will be getting married and relocating to Northern England. Not London. The other end of the country. No offense London, you’re cool and all. But NORTHSIDE, WHAT, WHAT!!!
When asked what she will miss the most about Evansville, she replied “passing out Munchie Maps at the Fall Festival”.

Ms. Miller “Cool Aunt Deb” was also a fixture on sister station 107.5 WABX since 2019, doing the night show before moving to middays in 2022.

The multi-formated air personality also had a weekend airshift on the CHR powerhouse Hot 96, using her middle name “One L Michele”.

Amy Adams will be the future host of the WIKY midday show beginning March 6th

Temple will bring the Temple of Rock to WABX middays, also beginning March 6th.

But seriously. I will miss each an every one of you. It’s been an honor (honour) to work with such a great group of professionals for so many years. There has been a tremendous amount of talent walk in and out of the doors here at the corner of Mt. Auburn and Bismark on Evansville’s West Side. I’m proud to have been a part of this legacy brand for so long. I’ve downloaded the apps for all the stations in the building and will be listening across the pond.
